Middle School - S.A.L.T.
SALT is our Middle School Ministry and draws its name from Matthew 5:13, "You are the salt of the earth". We believe that we are the "hands and feet" of Jesus and that we have an important responsibility as SALT. Salt adds flavor, and we strive to be the type of Christians that "spice up" our environment where ever we go. Salt also helps preserve and we want to be an encouragement to the people we meet everyday. A third thing salt does is that it aids in healing. We believe that we can help those who are hurting around us by displaying the love of Christ and presenting the free gift of salvation to all who will receive. Lastly, salt causes thirst. We want to live our lives in such a way that others will want to experience the life we have in Christ. Jesus had a reason for comparing us to salt. A little salt makes a big difference.

SALT meets every Wednesday night at 7:00pm in the "SALT Room" upstairs above the gym in the Butler Bldg.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Parents, college age, and all adults who posses Godly wisdom and "patience" are welcomed and appreciated for simply offering their "presence". Your presence and relationship is making a priceless difference in our students lives.

High School - L.I.G.H.T.
The L.I.G.H.T. comes out of Ephesians 5:8 where the Bible says to live as "Children of the Light". Our High School Ministry aims to build and train students to become Children of the Light. To become a "Child of the Light", we believe that teens must "Live in God’s Holy Truth". They must live a life grounded in God’s Word.

Our main meetings are held on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm in the Butler bldg. gym. Also we have a discipleship group that meets every Monday night (FUEL) at 7:00pm off campus.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:

Volunteers are always needed. Youth ministry takes a special person and it must be a calling for a volunteer to last. If you have a burden for High School students, then we need you. Whatever it is that God's gifted you to do, then our goal would be to use you in that area.
