Puppet Ministry
The Rock Springs Puppet Team strives to share the love of Christ and present the gospel to children of all ages through the use of puppets. We do this primarily through participation in Children’s Church services the fourth Sunday of every month. The puppet Team has also joined with the Children’s Choir to present special seasonal events.
The Puppet Team meets for practice upstairs in the Chapel Wednesdays from 6:00-6:45pm. Additional practice sessions may be scheduled for special events, as required.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:
Do you find yourself making goofy faces in the mirror? Do you often talk like Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd or Bugs Bunny? Do you have a deep, overwhelming desire to act, but you don’t really like being onstage? Well then, have no fear. You just might be a Puppeteer. We currently have openings for up to 13 Puppeteers. We could also use set and prop designers, lighting and sound technicians, script writers and script readers (for recording). Crafters are occasionally needed for sewing costumes.
Please note that you must be at least Middle School age to be involved in this ministry.
