One of the most effective ways to connect with other believers in the Rock Springs family is to be a part of a small group. Involvement in a Small Group will allow you to:
• Build relationships that foster encouragement, prayer & ministry on a personal level…among friends who will know your name & accept you as you are.
• Grow in your faith through discipleship as God’s Word is shared with passion.
• Discover a sense of belonging as you find your place in the family.
One of the most important steps in your journey to belonging is to explore a small group Bible study & get connected to the family through the Rock Springs Church Small Group Ministry.

The Rock Springs choir is made up of over 140 people who love to worship the Lord through song. The strongest part of the choir is not necessarily the "music" but the prayer groups and prayer time we have every week. Prayer is the most important thing we do and it takes top priority over anything we can do.
Our choir goes to many churches throughout the state of Georgia each year and performs for special events. Our prayer is that people will not so much remember Rock Springs Choir, but will remember the Lord and feel His presence in everything we do.
Choir meets every Wednesday night at 7:00pm for rehearsal. Band/orchestra meet Sundays at 4:00pm.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:
We are constantly recruiting choir members, as well as orchestra members.
We also have a drama team for our Christmas Production. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys acting.

Greeters & Welcome Center
You only have one chance to make a first impression. Studies show that a visitor’s decision on whether to return to a church again is made long before they ever hear the Pastor’s message. The Greeter Ministry at Rock Springs hopes everyone who visits our church feels a warm and friendly welcome. We hope they won’t be visitors, but members of our dynamic church. If you have a warm smile and enjoy meeting people, the Greeter Ministry may be the discipleship program you would like to consider.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES:
There is always a need for Greeters at the doors of each building around the grounds and inside the sanctuary to greet people as they enter. Greeters must also be knowledgeable of all the events at Rock Springs from the Sunday school classes to childcare and special events. Sign up sheets are usually at the Welcome Center or you can see Laura Perdichizzi.

The best foundation we can lay for the children of Rock Springs Church is the solid foundation of Jesus Christ. For too long nurseries have been part of church life simply because "somebody" has to take care of the infants and toddlers while their parents participate in worship services and classes. However, Rock Springs Nursery Ministry is an exciting and vital ministry. The nursery is just the beginning of leading a child to Jesus. Much of the work is hidden and the fruits of this ministry may take years to see, but God is faithful.
Our mission at Rock Springs Church is to help children learn that they are made for God's own glory and to apply this purpose to their lives. We achieve this mission by praying for our children, using a God-centered curriculum to teach our children, and taking very seriously our jobs as role models and leaders of our children.
Nursery classes are offered Sundays at 8:30am, 10:00am, 11:00am and 6:00pm for children ages birth through 3 years old. We also provide classes for 4 and 5 year olds during 6:00pm worship on Sunday. We ask that all parents of nursery children serve in the nursery on a rotating basis (once every other month).
We look forward to serving the needs of your family at Rock Springs Church.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Volunteer Caregivers are always needed and appreciated. If you would like to volunteer for this exciting ministry please complete a Volunteer Application which can be found at each nursery check-in station or click here.

Working in the nursery is not the kind of ministry that everyone is cut out for; the same can be said for going into the prison. The men and women that we come in contact with are so hungry for the Father’s Love but many of them have no idea what love is, least of all from God the Father. Our desire is to bring them into the presence of the Holy Spirit where their hearts can open to God’s Love; softening them to the point of surrender to Jesus Christ. Going into the prison is a life changing experience for those of us on the ministry team, as well as the inmates.
Ministry meeting is on the 2nd Sunday of each month in room 216 in the Branch.

Our group is designed for all who have addiction problems. Currently our primary focus is on the disease of addiction to alcohol and drugs. We use the same Twelve Step Program as was developed in Alcoholics Anonymous in the late 30’s. The same basic programs have been used by millions of people around the world and found to be effective. Our program differs in the fact that we place high emphasis on the Spiritual aspect of the program. Our literature is written by Christians in recovery and has biblical references throughout. All who have addictions to anything harmful to them are invited to attend. We highly stress personal anonymity because no one needs to know who attends. We are an informal discussion group focusing on the positive aspects of recovery. We believe in encouragement, not discouragement. The attendees will never be talked down to or made to feel uncomfortable in any way. There are no requirements for membership except a desire to change. We have long time experience in recovery and of working with people in recovery.
We meet every Thursday night at 7:30pm in the Hope House. Our meeting usually last until 9:00pm. We also have a family support group that meets at the same time in a different room. Addiction affects the whole family, and many times the family members need support for themselves. All family members are invited to attend this meeting.

Compassionate Hearts is a Cancer Support Group that consists of cancer survivors, cancer patients (those in treatments and those just finding out). We also have members who have lost love ones to cancer or have love ones with cancer.
Cancer patients that we are aware of are given a blanket or bear and a gift basket. They will receive cards from the group off and on during their treatment to help encourage them and just let them know we are there. If they need help with meals and household chores and transportation, we have groups that help with these things too. If you just need someone to talk to we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Lots of prayers are sent up for all of the people that we know that have cancer and the family of cancer patients.
We meet on the 1st, 3rd, & 5th Tuesdays at 7:00pm at the Hope House. At the meeting you are free to talk about anything you feel like talking about, or you can just sit quietly.

The Potter’s House is a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation, dedicated to helping women that have had dysfunctional lives. It is a Christian discipleship program rather than a drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation program. The Word of God tells us that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds; therefore, our purpose at the Potter’s House is to teach the ladies the truths of the Bible and allow God’s thoughts to replace the old patterns of stinking thinking. For six months, the ladies are immersed in the Word of God, in prayer, and in Christian fellowship with many people from many different churches. They truly are transformed as the Lord works daily in their lives, shaping and molding them into the image of Christ.
Our program is totally free to the residents; everything is furnished and paid for by God’s people in different churches. However, after the first six months, the ladies can stay an additional six months, at which time we will help them get a job and a vehicle. Someone works with them to open up a checking and savings account and set up a budget. They are required, during this phase, to tithe 10%, to pay 10% rent , and to keep only enough money to buy their necessities. The rest must go into a savings account to be used when they move out. Through all this process, our ladies are prepared to become productive citizens in our society.
The ladies have a meeting with the housemother each morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Then from 2:00pm to 4:00 pm the ladies have an exhaustive Bible study time with the founder of the Potter’s House.
