Children's Ministry
Many exciting things are available for your child in Children’s Ministry. Our mission is to get back to the basics and lay a Biblical foundation that will inspire our children to have a lifetime of growth in Jesus Christ.
Nursery is provided during all worship services. Wednesday night services and special events are provided for children birth through two years old. All parents of nursery children are expected to work during the worship care hour on a rotating basis (approximately once every 2 months). We encourage other adults to serve too!
Luke 2:52 tells us "And Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and with man." The purpose of 252.kids Ministries is to not only lead boys and girls to Christ, but to help them grow in that relationship the same way Jesus grew in His relationship with His Heavenly Father.
Children’s church is offered for children ages three years old through fifth grade. We currently use 252 Basics curriculum which focuses on mental, physical, spiritual, and social growth. We strive to teach our children to make right choices, reinforce right values, cultivate the right Faith, and build the right relationships. We have a dynamic worship service at 8:30 and 11:00 am where we incorporate games, music, puppets, object lessons, and skits that are designed to reach children for Jesus as they experience His power and His presence in a fun way.
Sunday school is available for children birth through fifth grade at 10:00 am. We currently use curriculum published by Group. The material is Bible-based, age-appropriate, and planned for the growth and development of your child. It provides strong spiritual foundations and encourages life application of Bible truths.
On Wednesday evenings the children ages 3 years old through fifth grade participate in AWANA from 7:00 to 8:30pm. AWANA (Approved Workmen are Not Ashamed) is an exciting approach to teaching God’s Word, combining learning with irresistible fun to prepare children to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.
